Cellular Health
IMPROVING
YOUR HEALTH AT THE CELLULAR LEVEL Allopathic medicine is what we consider the traditional health care in this country. You go to the doctor with a symptom, and he (or she) gives you a band-aid, or a drug, or cuts you open and fixes or removes something. Most of the thrust of allopathic medicine is symptomatic. That is, you have a symptom, and the doctor addresses that symptom to alleviate or remove it. This is extremely important in cases of trauma, such as broken bones. Holistic medicine, on the other hand, views symptoms as a guide to an underlying cause. For example, an allopathic doctor may give you an anti-inflammatory if you have aching joints, and this may temporarily improve symptoms. This is a symptomatic approach. The holistic practitioner will ask, “Why are the joints deteriorating and causing pain and aching? Is there an autoimmune problem? Is there a deficiency of sulfur to run the liver detoxification pathways, causing the body to rob the synovial fluid in the joints? Is there a circulation problem? Is the nerve malnourished? Are there essential nutrients that are not being absorbed, and if so, why?” In other words, the holistic practitioner will look at your body at the cellular level and give you the nutrient/enzymatic/homeopathic support that you need to make you healthier so that the pain in your joints will be eased from the inside as your body rebuilds itself. As one holistic practitioner wisely said, “There are no drug deficiencies, just nutrient deficiencies.” Realizing that the body must be treated at the level of the building blocks of life, or at the cellular level, it makes sense that one single approach is not going to work on every person every time. It takes an orchestra to make a symphony, and it sometimes takes the orchestrated efforts of several different types of approaches to make the body healthy. For example, a dentist may be needed to remove mercury amalgam fillings (heavy metal toxicity), while a chiropractor may be needed to alleviate spinal impingements on nerve conduction to the liver so that the organ receives nerve impulses without interference (needed to detoxify heavy metals), while a naturopath may be needed to give nutrients to upregulate specific biochemical detoxification pathways so that the toxic substance can actually be excreted from the body. Then a lymph drainage specialist may be needed to mobilize the lymphatics so that toxic intermediates can be excreted, as well. In addition, if there are any pharmaceutical medications involved, a physician is necessary to monitor and modify these for the patient as each improvement is achieved. Imagine a life without headaches, sleeplessness, joint pains, stomach aches, obesity, acne, fatigue, diabetes, cancer, hyperactivity, and any of the other myriad of disorders that afflict us from day to day. Imagine a life without the drugs, pain pills, and other synthetic assaults to our bodies. At Hanau Holistic Care, we go the extra mile to see that your body gets what it needs to repair cellular damage and grow new, healthy cells. We focus on removal of cellular toxins, foods and nutrients that will help your cells heal, and other special techniques to put you back on the track to good health. It has taken a lifetime for you to come to the point of the symptoms that you are now experiencing. Holistic medicine does not offer an overnight “fix”, but you can be assured that you can become healthier and restore and rejuvenate yourself at the cellular level so that you become a healthier, more vibrant, more energetic individual from this point on, as you turn your health around and get back on track.
